The paddle-style terminal part is the main feature of FLATLINE leads.
The rectangular shape, made of silicon and 2-columns array, allows to obtain an unidirectional stimulation for a better energy efficiency and a lower risk of an unpleasant recruitment of the surrounding muscles and motor nerves.
In addition, the special shape assures a greater inherent stability and a lower migration risk.
The solid experience in the use of paddle leads confirms a lower risk of the skin erosion and a lower scar tissue formation around the terminal side.
